For My book review I chose Pledged: The secret life of Sororities. Im not very far into the book yet. But I chose this book because i am in a sororityand this book had been catching my eye in the book store for weeks. All I know about sororities is what i have learned so far in my first year. (Which is a lot but i cant talk about what…silly rules and such…) i hope to find out other peoples experiences adn to hopefully know someone out side of sorority life’s opinions. I also wanted to find out why someone would want to know the secrets of a group that they themselves arent a part of (wouldnt that seem a little stalkerish…) and what kind of secrets people were most interested in. Really i hadnt even read anything about this book before hand that made me want to read it. It had caught my eye one day when i was at the book store and i felt like i would somehow be betraying my sisters if i read the book. This book review was a great excuse. And now most of my friends want to read it too!! YAY I started a trend! (Who know i had such great taste in books…)
